Definition.. Toll Processing:
An arrangement in which a company, processes material for another company.
At Eterniti we use the term 'hired decoiling'.. whereby a customer will send us their own steel coils and we decoil/flatten/ cut into sheets to the customers detailed specification.
When decoiling steel...flatness is paramount.
Typically in the UK, most decoiling machines have 9 or 11 flattening rollers.
Eterniti's has 15 rollers:-
...and this really does make a difference... particularly if it is heavy grade strip mill i.e. 15mm - 16mm, this is where those extra rollers will provide the flatness levels required.... .essential for the laser cutting industry.
This decoiling line was specifically designed to process
laser quality mild steel and stainless steel.
